Madison Co. Virginia | The October issue had an article slamming feedlots, and the terrible beef they provide. It contained demonizing descriptions of feedlots(unmistakable stench, fecal dust cloud, standing in their own excrement, etc), and what I assume are gross inaccuracies(23 sq. ft. per animal, really?!?). They're advocating a 100% grass-fed industry, and are saying it should be changed on a industry/regulatory level instead of a consumer choice basis. I've had my doubts of Consumer Reports before, but this is a new low. Has anybody else read the article? | |
