south east Indiana | It has been a great week of cool temps and no humidity so had all the border collies out for some training. Just working on a few little glitches on the older dogs. There is always some small thing that they/ we can improve on and can tweak so I have in place when I need it. Once they are 4 they pretty have things figured out but it is fun to watch them improve so quickly when you work on one area two days in a row.
Ivy and Zeva are continuing to work and learn. They are both a ton of fun to take out to sheep. Watching all that instinct come to the surface and those two girls think and try, can't get much better than that. I took a video of Griz working who is the mother to Ivy and Zeva. There is also a video of Zeva. You can see how similar their working style is. That is why it is important to see the parents of a pup work. You can see the way they turn in on sheep, their attitude and even pace is very similar.
