NS Canada | I would tend to look at it like the better managed calves (vac'd) are bigger because they have their shots, and also likely because of better managements practices throughout their lives. Health care, possible better breeding, and the returns are seen here - so there's more people vaccinating now, and those that tend to spend the money do so on better calves to begin with. Also those aren't groups, that's a local barns total animals sold for the day, several sales listed. Ain't no one around here with groups in the hundreds really.
They add up all the vac'd and non vac'd cattle and take the time to list how they did in their reports
