NC | Nothing wild going on with the index-- down, down and down some more
cash is still king-- its just not powerful enough anymore :(
The market has spoken and pushing higher meat prices is not sustainable- cattle have to be cheaper. Sorry cow/calf guys.
Think this will put the breaks on expansion? Not to late to switch gears and send those retained heifers to market. If it does it might end up being a good thing.
