Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
Back in the days of the very early 4020's, they had a problem seating rings and used a very fine abrasive powder that was dusted into the intake of the running engine. Seems I remember the stuff was much like if not "Bon Ami" scouring powder. I thought that problem was fixed many years ago.
I would want to be sure that non seated rings are the problem before feeding it anything gritty. Yours has the dry air filter ? If so, seems I remember a secondary air filter at the top of the filter canister that can cause an air restriction that may cause oil consumption. May pay to replace that if it has not been changed for a while.
