I've also run into something squirrelly with Vista's burner. Son in law has vista on a notebook that they've sent us DVD's from a couple times. I'm using Win 2K on this machine and it won't even recognize the disk, but when I take it to the machine in the basement that's on XP it works fine. It isn't the drive because I'm using an external USB drive that I'm also moving to the other machine.
