Grand Rapids, MI
GIS specialist is a pretty broad definition. For example, I work with GIS systems professionally, my specialization is using GIS systems for Management Information, and implementing the business processes to achieve these goals. I know there are others here involved in GIS software specifically for ag.

I think there is most likely a demand out there for people that have GIS and ag knowledge, probably some of the software people on here would know more. In our firm we tend to focus more on the business process, and let the software folks handle the complicated GIS questions.
