I would guess you should still be able to get VTs for the next 3 to 5 years. From what I've been told, any future changes to the Pro600 will be hardware changes only; the software that the display runs will be the same, so you shouldn't have any problems using whatever replaces the Pro600 with something that uses the pro600 now.
