Subject: Re: beacon guidance

That choice receiver (132 Trimble) is an exceptionally accurate one, and beacon correction enhances this. Your dealer must have experience with a different brand, I have two other types that give poor results with any correction system. The distance to the beacon is import also. I personally believe the distance where WAAS will usually equal beacon correction performance is somewhere between 200 and 300 miles. Beacon corrected receivers also have a big advantage during solar flares.
