| Has anyone ever tried communicating with a Trimble Base Station? I know that Trimble sends their correction information in CMR format for RTK corrections. Can the JD systems accept CMR's? I have a neighbor with a Trimble base and would like to try and receive his corrections. I currently have a SF2 signal so I know I would have to upgrade to RTK, but should only have to pay for the activation code and radio. Does JD ever provide a temporary RTK activation code or do you have to bite the bullet and pay for the code? I'd like to see if we can make it work before I pay the $3,000 for the RTK code. Please let me know if anyone has tried this or has first hand knowledge. Thanks, | |
