SW Minnesota, Lyon County | Easier to trade, yes. Cheaper to trade, no. I'll get flamed for this, but I believe I have a superior seeding meter than Deere has. Why buy another planter and do all the upgrades to get it to plant, do variable rate, and have row shut-offs like I have now. All the posts that say "Just go get a..." get old after awhile. I could've bought a new CaseIH with all this stuff on it if I wanted to spend the money. I didn't. I am also capable of doing what needed to be done, and have a shop that I actually use, to switch my planter over. By the time I trade, it's not going to be a huge difference. Might sell it outright or just keep it and make a sweet corn planter out of it. Not really much left on mine that is White anyway. |
