Both sides of the Mason-Dixon Line | there's a trick to reading alot of GS2 data into SMS, If it takes a long time to upload, do this: Copy your RCD folder and keep it as a backup. then open your original RCD folder and cut, say, half of the fdd and fdl files, and put them into another folder. Each FDD has a matching FDL, so make sure you remove only matching pairs. Then go into SMS and read int he global.ver fiel from the original RCD folder that has half of the FDD and FDL files removed. When you've read in the first half of fdd and fdl files, copy the other half of the FDD and FDL files back into your original RCD folder onm the card, and re-read the global.ver file into SMS. This procedure will keep your computer from crashing when reading in those full cards. I had to perform this procedure to read in a 183 MB card last fall. |
