I have been setting my 500 at 15", but I've only lost convergence once in the field with Omni* HP. I usually show 3-4" conv. on the screen. Fast restart does work, as I used it all spring since the tractor stays in the field at night. As far as the terrain comp issue, we had that same problem on our other EZS500 system. Wired a plug on the 4 prong screw in socket and that solved it.
