Soutwest Ks.
Jim: I've been running an edrive for 21/2 years and I along with some of my neighbors have concluded that running the receiver in front of the axle was the best place, but Brew Max maybe right as I don't recall that I have tried up on the cab roof much with the newer receiver. I've made brackets to come off the weight brackets and high enough that hopefully the cab won't interfere too much with signal. My rational for this is that the system is not sensitive enough with the receiver on the top of cab. It will work to a fashion but pass to pass accuracy will suffer. The moving of the front end is somewhat the nature of the beast, if you get it to stop doing that, it will probably get too far off line before correcting. Somewhere in there is the sweet spot and it will take some experimenting to find. Hope you get it working!
