Soutwest Ks. | I have been studying the Insight versus the Trimble FMD for a Trimble Auto Pilot. At this point, I believe I am leaning toward purchasing Insight versus FMD because of yield monitoring capabilitities. The Trimble dealer I am working with has never sold an Insight before. Can there be some serious issues getting this unit calibrated correctly with this combination? From what I have heard, a laptop with correct software is needed to calibrate the Insight, the FMD is done through the screen. Is this a problem?
Is this a nightmare waiting to happen? Those of you running the FMD or Insight, what was the major reason you went with the display you chose, and have you been happy with the decision? Sorry about all the questions, but right now I have my Hanes in a tight wad trying to get this figured out!! Any comments will be appreciated!!! I am going to be moving the display between two tractors and one combine.
Will be going with RTK probably. | |
