i have a 30 ft and like the post above, it does not level very well, but it does chop up residue into fine pieces. i have rocky ground and yet to break a blade for the two years use if have. i rented a summers but if you hit a rock with it or greatplains it bends or breaks the blade and then you have to take the whole gang apart like a disk to take the broken blade off. also, with summers and greatplains you can not turn with it in the ground whereas the salford has a swivel on it so you can follow contours and make big turns with it without loosening evereythinhg up on it like the others. if you are into min til, this is a great machine. i hit my cornstalks last fall twice with this unit and no-tilled my navybeans into it this spring and got a beautifull stand, did the same with soybeans, but only hit the cornbstalks once last fall. it pulls a lot easier in the fall vs. spring. i pull my 30 ft. with 200 hp cat 45 and it handles it great in spring and fall. goodluck.
