Ontario | I have a JD 6200 with a powerquad transmission that has started slipping and acting sluggish while driving. The higher the gear it is in the more it slips. (example, It slips more in D 1 Then in C 1) It also seems to slip more in 3rd or 4th gear then in 1st and 2nd gear. There have been a few times when it has started slipping real bad. It will then start smelling like a hot or burnt clutch. Also one day the transmission oil pressure light came on. So we checked the oil and it was a bit low, we then topped it up, but it didnt make any differnce. Could the clutch be out of adjustement or is it worn out? Or could have to do with the power shift packs? Or possibly could there be other problems? TIA | |
