| I"m wanting to put a yield monitor in my combine but hate to spend the money for a brand new one with no more acres than I farm. Is there any thing wrong with buying an older one (YM2000) and use it for a few yrs. until I can justify to buy a new one. Is there any where you can buy the cards that work with them? I thoguht I read somewhere that it's getting hard to find them for this old monitor? I'd like to create maps with it that I can download into Farm site, I already have a GPS receiver,(Raven) I know where I can get the monitor but not sure where to get the hardware?
Should I just bite the bullet and buy a new one or do you think I"ll get along for a few yrs. with this one
