You need at least a voltage swing of 3V (3V difference between full left and full right). Not sure of the dead zone or pgain as I only installed and serviced Deere's and CIH. You will not see chatter in the front end with front duels. If you continue to have problems drop me and email with contact info and I will call. I only check email at night.
