Depends on what you're seeding. Larger seeds, such as cereals go in deeper & are more forgiving, so can travel faster. Countless studies have shown that slowing down for seeding small seeds like canola that need to be only 1/2" below ground pays off big time with increased yields. Going too fast will cause the seeder to bounce around & not have even seeding depth.
