NW IOWA | NW IA. We are more than 200 GDU's behind compared to average for this time of year. Going to need warm favorable weather the rest of this growing season to make decent yields. That is if we can get it planted!!
Lot of the corn going in now is being put in poor conditions. Sidewall compaction - poor root developement. Will need forgiving rains to help heal a lot of planting mistakes. Not conducive to above average yields. | |
