what kind of IRA you in that's only paying .25% My IRA was 8% this year, 19% the year before
The risk free yield is 0.25%.....to get 8% or 19% you took a fair amount of risk in your IRA. Nothing wrong with that but just realize a -25% yield is possible as well.
