You asked him to fix it, he fixed it. Time to pay the bill. Ask yourself if the bill would have been $800 would you still be upset. No point getting upset about the timeline of 5 years. If that wasn't an issue till now, then it isn't an issue
I don't agree with other posts of letting him keep tractor. That would only be OK if the guy that did the repairs agreed to it. Not right to stick him with a tractor he didn't intend to buy.
I would not pay the 8% though, that takes some gall on his part................ | |
