southern MN | Been a while since we had this, almost no snow, just enough to fill the air, at least no drifts or deep stuff.
Total white out tho, I'm the type that has 4wd and dresses right and goes out in a lot of stuff, but no way a person should be our in this.
I'm listening to a new scanner we got for Christmas, and its nuts for people to be out there. Stay where you are.
I got a couple round bales with the open tractor this afternoon, was driving the alleyway between the grove and a line of old machinery, maybe 50 feet wide, at times I couldn't see either the trees or the machinery, and this is at slow tractor speed, open tractor nothing obstructing my view. I wouldn't have tried going to bales across an empty field, people get lost out on the open - nothing to reference.
They are shutting the roads down around me now, the county is kinda upset the state waited so long. I agree with the county.
