Subject: RE: spray coup transmission

west texas
I have an automatic and can't imagine being without it. My first coupe 20years ago was a 220 and it was a manual transmission and I much prefer the automatic. If all of the ground was flat and firm I suppose the manual would be fine. The manual was really at a disadvantage when you're trying to get rolling in soft or hilly ground. The automatic has proven to be reliable unless you pull a bonehead stunt like myself and forget to disconnect driveshafts before towing..... lifespan is only 3.5 miles under those conditions.
