Our oil seed rape will grow taller than that by the time it is ready to be dessicated and we run through it with a tractor which isn't ideal, it doesn't totally flatten it, just sort of leans it over. If you put a tarp underneath your tractor so it has nothing to catch on, will it lay the plants over without snapping the stems and or knocking the heads off?
