michigan | We feed balage to our dairy cows. One thing that has bothered me is the inconsistent hay in some bales. Most of our hay feilds are small and the hay around the edges tend to have more grass in it. This year we kept them bales seperate and have used them for heifers and young stock. Im happy with the consist production of my milk cows now. Just something that works for me. | |
