SW NE | We have had a couple sets of Horning rolls over the years and have found them to be far better than stock rolls. We first put them in our Deere 6850 and saw a remarkable difference in processing. Last year we put them in our Krone 1100 after just one year (50,000 tons) on the stock rolls. The Hornings ran last year (2013) and this year and have about 120000 tons on them. We will replace them with the Fiber Tech rolls next year. We may not HAVE to replace them but we'll do it anyway before the season to ensure that we don't have to change them out in the middle of the season. This year, we added two Claas choppers and while we did get the corn processed adequately, we won't run the stock rolls next year. We felt we had to have the kp's tightened down too far to get the processing we wanted, especially for brand new choppers. I'm willing to bet that you'll be very satisfied with the Hornings.
