I teach vocal music and have several comments.  First of all, your girl did a very nice job!  2nd:  The director is trying to steal the show. (trying)  3rd:  The girl to your daughter's right looks like she is rather bored with the whole process!  The director should've spent more time with the rest of the choir to get them up to speed to help your daughter express her talent.
