I was just kiddin ya, Brian.

How it fits your ration and affects your herd is your call. Seems like every dairy has a slightly different approach to keeping the tank full. What I can tell you is harvesting won't tie up that much of your time in the summer. Your chopping equipment should easily knock out 250 acres per day, and with somewhat normal weather, whatever that is anymore, haylage is generally harvested a day after mowing. Obviously it takes longer when the sun disappears and mist clouds roll through every couple hours like this past summer.

There are some pretty exciting new things coming available for seed this year, and even more next.
