Subject: Update for 925 flex with Crary air reel on 1480.

Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
I asked Crary what the pressure relief valve installed in the reel drive plumbing of my JD 925 flex with crary air reel was for,and if I should leave it in place when connected to an IH 1480 combine ?
I got a reply from one of the guys at Crary today,so If anyone else does the 925 with Crary air reel on anything but a JD,here is the word from Crary.

" You had Emailed about a valve that was in a picture you sent. I have
> been gone working on Air Heads sorry for the delay.
> That relief was used on the John Deere to keep the reel from surging.
> It is not needed on any other combine so you should take it out of the line."
