the 2 1/2" thinwall square tubing may be strong enough except there might be a bit of vibration at the 6 foot length you are going to use. If the antenna does not move or vibrate more than a fraction of inch, for example, less than 1/2 inch, you when in operation relative to the tractor, then you should be good to go with WAAS or Omnistar XP. For RTK, 1/2 inch movement might be a bit more than desirable. Any antenna motion relative to the tractor will add to you total error. Be sure to measure carefully and enter the antenna offsets into the vehicle setup.
