Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Don't know about the Outback situation but a standalone GPS speed device such as a Skytrak might be cheaper and has some other advantages.
You just slap it on the roof somewhere and connect it up. The calibration numbers are generally "good enough" since the Skytrak was made to mimic a true radar gun. For a Raven console the SPEED CAL is SP2 and 605. The 605 can be fine tuned if necessary but is generally very accurate.
To run two devices, you would need some type of splitter cable. This "Y" could split the signal into two AMP style connectors for a planter monitor and Smartbox. A different "Y" could split the signal into an AMP style for a planter monitor and a CONXALL style for a Raven product.
Another advantage of the Skytrak scenario is that it can easily be moved to another rig very easily.
