If you purchased an Ez Guide 500 and an Ez-steer 500 both new you should not have to upgrade anything. The only reason you should ever have to update your T2 module is if it was originally used on an ez guide plus. However, if they were purchased at the same time your ez-steer should be up to date. Your lightbar will need to be updated from time to time, but the ez-steer should be ready to go.
