SW of Enid OK | I had three baggies from different parts of the field. One was from an area that I knew was stressed. Second was from lower ground where there was still good stubble standing. And the third was just an average spot in the field. At each stop I walked and randomly picked up two to five inch pieces, anything that I thought a cow might pick up, including leaves and small heads. Leaves and heads were fine but anything over the size of a pencil had dark color to it. There is a good chance that the cows would go for the heads and leaves first and not eat the coarser stuff but at today's cow prices it's not worth the risk. | |
