cromwell ky | I would probably put a t post between the wooden post. I use a southern states (Parmak) 50 mile fencer I'm very happy with it it's probably the hottest I've ever had on the place. I can't recall how many joules it is. It takes a hot fence for goats or they'll push right through it. An old farmer told me when I was a kid. If your fence will hold water it will hold a goat just fine.
