NW Illinois Stephenson county | When I needed to replace the starters with nippendensa (how ever it is spelled) starters on my 4320 and a few months later my 4020 (both 12 volt systems) it was like I had brand new tractors. If I don't have them plugged in they will start down to 20 degrees F with no starting fluid. With the 4020 I hardly turn the key and it is running. When I had a 4010, I could count the pistons one by one with my with my fingers crossed hoping it would start. I would suggest if the connections are clean and tight to bite the bullet and go 12 volt system and a nippendensa starter and eliminate that stress.
When you get it fixed, please report back, I am curious what finally works for you. Good Luck! |
