Had six inches since the first of September here 20 miles east of joplin. Planted alafla the 12th of September now it's six inches tall and all ready had milk cows on rye for a while. Fed some hay in August to the beef cows be not a lot since. To us any way this has been a good fall couldn't beat the weather the past six weeks period. We've just been real dry and don't have any excess water. But for working outside you just can't beat what we've had. |
