The steel bracket and lower motor mount are not perfectly rigid because the steel pieces would have to be too heavy to eliminate all movement. During testing I've seen around 1/4 inch peak to peak movement of the top of the drive wheel and motor. are you getting more than that? If so, then try changing the motor speed in the EZ-Steer setup from Auto to manual slow to see if the peak to peak movement of the drive wheel is reduced, and check to see that it still holds the line as good as with Auto setting for motor speed.
