They had been told not to buy more and them promptly went out and bout another 300 million worth the next day. When their buy man walked onto the floor silver shot up .50 everytime. I think them telling cftc or whatever body it was they wouldn't buy then buying 300 million worth the next day probably is what pissed off the wrong folks.
They over leveraged their position and when they got the rule change they were doomed.
