NCND | Bnsf bases their fall train schedule around beans. Typically by end if January our turn of shipping beans from nd to china is given to Brazil.
I don't have a bean on the farm. Basis is as good as it was before rail issues or very close -85. Given all that I didn't see point in gambling in basis because we all know how bad it got last year. I'm assuming state st production record this year too so don't see much if reason that any basis rally would out do a paper rally.
That's just what I've observed and how I market my beans these days. I don't foresee a decrease in bean acres in nd next year either. | |
