south east Indiana | If you are putting a used needle into the bottle of whatever - antibiotic, vaccine ect - you are contaminating the whole bottle. Not such a big deal if you are using the entire bottle at that time, bigger deal if you want to use that product a week, month later. Unless you wipe off the top of the bottle with alcohol and sterilize the needle or use a new one every time a needle goes in you are adding contaminates.
Not saying you Have To change the needle just pointing out that using a sterile technique will ensure the quality of the product. | |
