Subject: RE: What is the quality of feed from your coop?

I used to work in a feed mill. It very well may have been where i worked but we sold the very best quality corn as rolled or cracked but even the stuff that went through the hammer mill was good quality, just not as good as the other. Maybe we were lucky and only got good corn in. I don't remember screening any.

We dried using two top dry systems which i think are way better on the corn.

The farm i work at now came up with the idea to trade beans for corn at the elevator. I am pretty sure they give us screening instead of good corn. Cracked, dusty and dirty.
