perhaps if you stand behind those calves and get a GOOD LOOK over their topline:

You need to see "Spring of Rib,' thus over the center they are ( that top...and RIBS ) going to "Butterfly OUT."

That IS thickness..AND yield grade / future yield grade.

btw, that hip and round is gonna follow right along as per thickness too.

Your up there in the dairy XXX "cross" country...some are REALLY great...and others....really SUCK too.

BEST Dairy X w BEEF is a Piedmontese X Holstien, btw. EVERY DAM 1, IS Generally A SHOW CALF.
