MN | Why waste money on calls? If you're worried about ration cost and think corn is cheap buy it outta the field and bag it/bin it/pile it... If we do get a weather scare and Brazil only raises half a crop ... You could own calls but still have trouble sourcing your grain. Calls ain't gonna help much if local basis turns against you. And those 'cheap' outta the money calls, which probably will expire worthless could have used that premium to buy feed... You know the stuff you give the animals to eat everyday, pretty tough to feed calls... | |
