irrigation and they are what produces feed ( in Hot weather ).
Old World Blue is tough to beat on the afore. MO
You Need a MIX. COOL SEASONS ( Brome...cannot be beat as a cool season grass. MO ).
And the Hot Season grasses ( OW Blue, Japanese Millet etc )
Be pretty darn tough to Impossible to beat Buffel Grass...but the deal is not in the the SW.
Buffel is simply amazing...huge tonnage with no moisture basically ( course there seem to be segments of the usa govt that don't like it ).
guess since the wind blows it in...oh jeez...to bad.. MO
Irrigated pasture mix.
