NW Central Ohio | ...Being a long term asset, how much of these expensive cows, bred cows, and pairs can be depreciated in the first year of ownership? Wouldn't it be prudent to buy these cows no matter the cost if you had a pretty darn good year of both crop production...and cattle sales? Just to have something to write off? After she's written off (in several years) you might not be making as much money on your cattle sales...but you already saved a good chunk on your income taxes when you bought them didn't you? | |
