The difference you are thinking of with dozers is that they list a short and long frame for the 20s. The 8420 and 8520 are long frame and the smaller ones can be either. I assume the ILS ones are the longer frame. The bolt holes for the loader are all the same. The 840 is nice, got one that's been on 2 different 8100s. With a strong pump on the tractor can lift enough to nearly flatten the front tires even with 34 PSI in them. I don't recommend it but it has happened when things broke that needed lifted somehow.
