a few months ago the cash price offered for 875lb calves here was . 10 under the current futures price.
A VERY good deal for us. Normal had been around .14.
this month the cash price on 875 lbs was .20 under the current future price.
Might need to start selling 775 lbs- they were only .08 under.
Market ?
