...Wouldn't cutting it for silage and building a silage pile be about as practical? It's not a finishing ration deal....maybe cut some combine the rest?

...Then the practical side of me comes in and says...Cattle have legs, why the hell don't you just limit graze them on it and cut out all the work. Toss some good electric fence around the field...and put a strand across it to keep them from getting too much knocked down at once.
